Installing E3 on Windows

Step 1:

Click on one of the URLs to download E3 on Windows:

Step 2:

After clicking a URL, the download will automatically begin.

Click on the file once the download completes to initiate the install.

Step 3:

After clicking the file, the installation window should appear at the center of your screen.

Step 4:

Once the installation completes, the app will automatically open prompting you to log in.

The E3 Desktop App runs in the background and can be accessed in the Windows System Tray which is located in the bottom right.

Step 5:

Enter your registered email to receive a log in code.

If you don't have an account with E3 yet, you need to contact your organization's admin to get an invitation email.

If you already have an invitation and haven't created your account, follow the steps in the article below.

Step 6:

Find the code sent to your inbox and enter that in the prompt to log in.

Installing E3 on Mac

Step 1:

Click the download URL for Mac below.

Step 2:

As you click the download URL from Step 1, the download will automatically begin.

When the download completes, click on the file to start the installation process.

Step 3:

Once installed, drag and drop the app into the Applications folder.

Step 4:

Double click the applications folder and click on the Emergent3 app.

Step 5:

If you open the app and see a prompt, simply click on Open.

Note:

Step 6:

The E3 app should now appear with a screen that lets you log in.

If you don't have an account with E3 yet, you need to contact your organization's admin to get an invitation email.

Deploying E3 using GPO or 3rd parties

The .exe silently installs with the following switch and works well via silent install script and should work from GPO or 3rd party package tools like K12Panel.com.
