How to Complete your User Profile
Complete your E3 Safety App profile to strengthen account security, ensure reliable alert notifications, and stay connected during active incidents.
To view and complete your remaining setup tasks click on your profile.
Pro Tip: Click on the task and it will shortcut you to the right spot to complete that task.
Step 1:
Go to Your Profile (top right corner of the screen).

Step 2:

Click Profile Completion under Account Setup.

Review the list of tasks.

Complete any tasks that are not yet finished.

You will see your progress displayed (for example, “3 of 7 tasks completed”). Items with a checkmark are complete. Tasks without a checkmark still need to be completed.
Be sure to finish all remaining items to ensure your account is fully secured and ready for active alerts.
1. Verify Your Account
Once you have successfully logged into the E3 Safety App, your account will be verified automatically.
Account verification confirms:

Your identity within the system
-
Your secure access to your organization’s safety group
-
Your eligibility to receive alerts and notifications
If you are able to log in without issue, your account is considered verified.
2. Add a Profile Picture
Adding a profile photo helps administrators and team members quickly identify you during active alerts.
To add a profile picture:

Go to your Profile
-
Select Edit Profile
-
Upload a clear photo of yourself
Using a current photo improves identification accuracy during emergency situations.

3. Add Your Phone Number
Adding your phone number ensures you receive critical alerts and communications.
Why this is important:
-
Provides an additional contact method during emergencies
To add your phone number:
-
Go to Profile
-
Select Edit Profile
-
Enter your mobile number
-
Save changes

4. Register Two Devices or More
For redundacy and reliablity, log into your E3 account on more than one device.
Examples:

Primary phone
-
Computer or Laptop
Registering two devices ensures:
-
You receive alerts even if one device is unavailable
-
Redundancy during emergency situations
-
Improved notification reliability
Simply download the E3 Safety App on your second device and log in using your existing account credentials.
5. Run Notification Troubleshooting (On Mobile Devices Only)
You should run notification troubleshooting at least once on every mobile device where you are logged in. This feature only works on iPhones and Androids.
This confirms:

Push notifications are enabled
-
Permissions are properly configured
-
Your device can receive emergency alerts
6. Set a Favorite Location
Setting a favorite location helps you quickly check in during an active alert.
To set a favorite location:

Go to your Group
-
Select Map
-
Locate your primary or frequently visited location
-
Tap on it
-
Mark it as your Favorite Location
This allows for faster check-ins and improved situational awareness during alerts.
7. Check In During Active Alerts
When an alert is sent out, it is critical that you check in. (Visit this article to learn how to respond to alerts)
When you receive an alert:

Select your location
- Select your status (safe or unsafe)
Once all tasks are completed, your profile will reach 100% completion, confirming your account is fully secured and ready for alerts.
