Desktop Notifications (Windows/Mac)

Enable app notifications on Windows and Mac computers for E3. Notifications trigger the screen override when an alert is sent.

Windows 🖥️

Open the E3 App.
Launch the E3 desktop app from your Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Access Settings.
In the top-right corner, select Settings ⚙️

Step 2:

In the Settings window, click on System.

Step 3:

From the System settings, click on Notifications.

Step 4:

Scroll down until you find the section entitled Notifications from apps and other senders. Here, you'll see a list of apps that can send notifications.

Step 5:

Select Emergent3 app and click on it.

Step 6:

Toggle the switch to enable notifications for that app. Enable all notifications and ensure to disable "Hide content notifications are on lock screen". Set Priority to Top.

 


 

Mac 💻

Step 1:

Open System Settings.
Click the Apple menu  → System Settings → Notifications.

Step 2:

Find the E3 App.
Scroll down to E3 and select it.

Step 3:

Turn on Notifications.

  • Enable Allow Notifications.

  • Choose your preferred alert style — Banner or Alert.

  • Make sure Play sound for notifications is enabled.

 

Enabling app notifications on your Mac or Windows computer ensures you're always in the loop with important updates and alerts from your E3 Safety App. Simply follow the steps outlined above in this article to have another device connected and ready to receive E3 notifications 👍
