**Minimum OS requirements - MacOS 10.15+ and Windows 8+

DomainsThe following domains must be allowed for application access, realtime communication, and file delivery:
  • *.e3.software – Core E3 services
  • app.e3.software – Web application and API access
  • ws.e3.software – Realtime WebSocket connections
  • *.amazonaws.com - File downloads and deep-link redirects (AWS-hosted assets)


IP AddressesIf IP allow-listing is required, allow outbound and inbound traffic to:
  • 3.129.183.95
  • 3.13.133.127
Note: This IP is used by E3 services; however, domain-based allow-listing is recommended where possible due to cloud infrastructure flexibility.


PortsOutbound Ports (Required)The following ports must be open for outbound traffic only to support push notifications and secure communication with Apple and Google services:
  • 5228, 5229, 5230 – Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
  • 5223 – Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device connectivity
  • 2197 – Apple APNs provider communication
  • 443 – HTTPS (API requests, push messaging, fallback transport)

  • 8080 - is optional for redirects

Inbound Ports (Required)

  • 443 (HTTPS / WSS) – Required for inbound access to E3 web application and APIs Secure WebSocket (WSS) realtime connections
Realtime traffic is delivered over WSS on port 443. 

Connections are initiated from client devices or the E3 backend to Apple/Google infrastructure.References:

Realtime traffic is delivered over WSS on port 443. Sockets run behind our infrastructure and does not require direct inbound access to any additional ports.
